CranioSacral Therapy is safe for all ages.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) can lead to many surprising and seemingly miraculous improvements where other traditional methods have failed. How it works: Feeling the cranio-sacral rhythm of an accupoint is an effective way to communicate with the energy of that point, as well as the whole meridian ( lay-lines). This kind of "melting and blending" with the body is dependent upon the therapist's professional refinement, dedication and constant practice. |
...A healthy Cranial pulse is as important as good circulation. The restrictions literally inhibits the flow of the body's own innate intelligence. These restrictions and imbalances can arise from birth forces, whiplash, frequent ear infections, attention deficit and/or digestive problems.
With non-invasive skin on skin contact you can sense the cranio-sacral rhythm with your fingers. The sensation you'll feel is usually a 6-second cycle-3 seconds of 3 contracting or rocking back and forth. Once you can feel the rhythm at one point, then you can communicate with it's flow. As the movement of the accu-point comes into awareness, I untangle the point with my intention and allow the wisdom of my fingers to bring the motion into harmony. After I tune into the rhythm of one point the focus on the other points become aware of their individual motions. To fully untangle a meridian, I simply focus on the entry and exit of that channel one point at a time and then both together. By contracting both points with my intention I can sense the movements all through the meridians. Then I just sit with that meridian; intending for its energy to untangle any blocks or gaps in its flow to optimize its efficiency. Click here for more information on meridians by Donna Eden.
WHAT MAKES MY WORK UNIQUE?
Either we are aligned or misaligned, allowing or resisting. Receiving an energetic jump start and re-establishing your body's innate blueprint can be an excellent addition to your healing experience.
REM Sleep Impacts the Body
“Dreaming is a safe space, a time to try things out and retune or debug your body,” states Josh Bongard, Professor, the Morphology, Evolution & Cognition Laboratory, University of Vermont. Read more.
Our bodies change by the day, in a series of papers, Mark Blumberg, the chair of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa, articulates his theory that the brain uses REM sleep to “learn” the body.
In REM sleep, Blumbeg continues, bursts of activity in the sensorimotor cortex, which coordinates movement and sensation, follows the twitches. The body and brain aren’t disconnected. The brain is listening to the body, those twitches allow you to form discrete connections that otherwise would be impossible. Read more.

"The inner wisdom of a fetus and an infant is every bit as intelligent as that of an adult. It knows what its body needs to correct its dysfunctions. It knows why those dysfunctions are present. It has a softer voice than the adult inner wisdom. Therefore, the CranioSacral Therapist must learn to listen carefully. Once the connection is made, all the information you need will be forthcoming."
